| Cold sores or fever blisters are unattractive
red blisters and scabs on the lips and mouth. Obviously, they make many
people feel self-conscious. They are caused by the herpes virus, are contagious,
and cannot be cured. Fortunately, they can be treated and prescription
medications can prevent reoccurrence and speed recovery. If you suffer
from recurrent cold sores, talk to your doctor about getting a prescription
cream or pill. Your doctor will know what is best for you. Talk to your
doctor or consult with a board-certified physician online now.
